Demo's, Presentations & SeminarsBold Text
Display & Demostration:
AMSAT of AZ will be here with a booth and setup to demostrate uplinking to satellites.

Presentations:
National Weather Service (NOAA, Flagstaff) will be doing a presentation on LIGHTNING Safety. This will be the only session. Session lenght is about 45 minutes.

Seminars:
National Weather Service (NOAA, Flagstaff) also will be conducting training for individuals wishing to be part of SKYWARN. There will be only two (2) sessions offered, 20 individuals each. Session will last approx 1 hr. Looking at first session to start at 0900. Individuals wishing to pre-register for this seminar can send e-mail to ke7edp05@cableone.net or call 928-242-1178
Prize Drawings & Giveaways

Raffle drawings of Gift Certificates and MORE will commence at 8 AM to 12:45 PM - tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5

Event Grand Prize drawing will take place at 1 PM.
1st Grand Prize: Yeasu FT-7900R Dual Band Mobile w/YSK-7800
2nd Grand Prize: Heil Mic Pro 35
3rd Grand Prize: Yeasu FT-270R VHF HT

A 50/50 tickets ($1.00 each) will be sold and drawing will be held right after the drawing of the main prizes.

Prize Drawing Rules & Disclaimer:
Door prize drawings will be minimum of every hour, possibly more drawings depending on number of prizes to be given away. You must be present to win any door prize. All unclaimed door prizes will be drawn just prior to Grand Prize Drawing until gone. Then, all raffle tickets from all door prize drawings will be returned to the drawing container for the Grand Prize drawing. All tickets will bear the name and call sign on the back of the ticket(s) drawn to be eligible for Grand Prize drawing. Winners for this drawing need not be present to win. We do hope QTH addresses on ARRL or QRZ are current as so to recieve prize if not present at the time of drawing. All prizes will be awarded.
VE Testing

VE testing will be conducted in pre-arranged class room starting at 0900 hrs until approxmiately 1045 hrs. Individuals testing for Technican will need 2 ID's (one with picture)and $14.00 exact cash. Licensee's upgrading will need one pictured ID, photo copy of your current license and $14.00 exact cash.
Admission & Fees
Individuals
An admission fee of $1.00 per person will be charged at the enterance. You'll recieve an arm band and raffle ticket for drawing of a First Aid Kit.

Tailgaters:
We welcome any and all to join us. All we ask is for $5 for your set up location for the day. You will be able to set up anytime after 5 PM Friday evening (June 4th). Gates open at 0700 hrs Saturday.


Vendors:
This year vendors will have a choice of being indoors or out. Space or booth fee will be $5.00 either way. Outdoor vendors will be aloud to set up any time after 5 PM on Friday (June 4th) evening. There will be security thoughout the night. Unfortunely, indoor vendors will not have access until 6 AM (June 5th) to start setting up. All vendors will need to provide their own tables and chairs. ARCA Meeting
ARCA will be meeting in pre-arranged class room right after VE Testing at 1100 hrs.
Talk-In
Talk-in will be available both Friday night and Saturday morning. Check in to what's going on over the air by tuning up 145.31 repeater w/PL 110.9 (Greens Peak). Backup will be 146.61 w/ PL 162.2 (Greens Peak). On-site frequency is 146.520 simplex. An for are visitors to the area, these repeaters are available locally: W7OTA on 146.61 w/PL 162.2; EAARS on 146.70, w/PL141.3; ARA on 146.72, w/PL162.2 for staying in touch with your QTH within Arizona and southwestern New Mexico.
